An Irama Visual Exhibition submission campaign, an experience for fans of vinyl, music and art. Choosing any of the existing vinyl cover art from the past and redesigning it with their own interpretation was given to each artist. We selected the album from Soneta, a legendary Dangdut–a genre of Indonesian folk and western popular music–group led by Rhoma Irama, well-known as “The King of Dangdut,” the album titled Begadang 2, released in 1979. We made a die-cut sleeve creating The King’s silhouette and fluorescent inked screen printed on the inside sleeve a personalized design of the album title so when it was opened.

Second-year packaging assignment: The aim was to model fresh and innovative packaging for different light bulbs that can be used in multiple sizes. To keep the lightbulbs secure, I chose a pyramid structure with a protective insert. To improve the die-cut areas on the cover, I have matt and glossy black, but also to keep the color scheme plain.

Machiyenga is a Cusco, Peru, bean-to-bar chocolate. The name comes from Machiguenga, an indigenous community whose ancestors lived in Cusco’s western part during the Incan Empire, known as Antisuyo. Chuncho cacao was used as a fruit and as a commercial product by the Machiguenga, a tradition that continues to this day. This same Chuncho cacao is the chocolate used by Machiyenga to make its bars.
